Annual Elks Hoop Shoot is Sunday for youth

    The annual Elks Hoop Shoot competition will be held on Sunday, Dec. 12 at Houlton High School.
    Registration is at 12:30 p.m., followed by the competition at 1 p.m.
    Contestants’ age groups will be determined by their age as of April 1, 2011. There are six age groups in the competition: boys age 8-9, girls age 8-9, boys age 10-11, girls age 10-11, boys age 12-13 and girls age 12-13.
