S.W. Collins employees raise funds to benefit Toys for Tots

    Employees from each S.W. Collins in Houlton, Presque Isle and Caribou purchased 70 new toys that will be donated to the Toys for Tots program.
    A total of $630 was raised, which reflects funds donated by S.W. Collins employees from Houlton, Presque Isle and Caribou, the match money donated by S.W. Collins officials, and a $50 gift card donated from Walmart.
    Once the donations were gathered, Caribou S.W. Collins Assistant Manager Travis Levesque brought two toy experts with him to purchase the gifts for children of all ages; Travis’ children Nicholas, 12, and Gage, 6, helped their dad pick out a variety of toys that any kid would enjoy ranging in price from $2.50 to $29.
    This is the third holiday season that employees of S.W. Collins have contributed to a charitable cause and the second year that they’ve donated to Toys for Tots.
