The Gift of Warmth
The Medical Staff Executive Committee at The Aroostook Medical Center recently voted to donate $2,000 to Helping Hands for Children and Families’ Fuel Assistance Program.

The donation was funded out of the annual dues paid by the members of the active medical staff and will be used to provide heating assistance for families in need in Aroostook County. Pictured for the check presentation are from left: TAMC Medical Staff President Stacy Weeks-Jandreau, MD, and Andrew Michalka, executive director, Helping Hands for Children and Families. Helping Hands for Children and Families is a nonprofit organization that provides information, referrals and training events to assist families and individuals in meeting their needs.
