Enjoying the snow

East Grand Outdoor Education student Chet Knights leads the pack while snowshoeing in to Longley Lake on a winter camp outing. East Grand students broke into small groups and were challenged to be resourceful with shelter building, fire building and preparing meals over an open fire. During the night the group took part in a night hike with map and compass in some pretty dense forest. The outing was one of several planned throughout the school year.
