    SCARBOROUGH – Joseph J. Reed, 94, of Falmouth died Sunday, March 6 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. He was born in Cary on January 25, 1917 the son of William J. and Lily Collins Reed.
    He graduated from RCI in Houlton. He had been employed for many years as the maintenance supervisor for O’Donnell’s Express of Presque Isle. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, the Masons and the Odd Fellows.
    He is survived by his two daughters, Bonnie Wilcox and her husband, Barry, and Barbara Cooper and David Cloutier; grandchildren, Andrew Wilcox and Julie, Scott Cooper and Priscilla, Darren Wilcox and Kara and Martha Murdick and Kent; great-grandchildren, Jesse Murphy, Nicholas Wilcox, Emily Wilcox, Abigail Murdick, Cooper Murdick, Bryce Murdick and Zach Jones. He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred Reed.
    His family wishes to extend special thanks to the Lewis family.
    Interment will be at Gracelawn Memorial Park in Auburn. Donations in his memory can be made to the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, 11 Hunnewell Rd., Scarborough, ME 04074. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home, 24 Shaker Rd., Gray.
