The Eastern Maine Hockey Coaches Association held its awards banquet March 6 in Brewer.
Seeley was named to the All-Rookie team, while MacFarline, Caleb Buck, Jacob Buck, LaJoie and Evan Waddell were All-Academic selections.
Jacob Buck made first team defense, with Jordan Hallett receiving honorable mention. Isaac LaJoie made second team as a forward and Shaw received honorable mention. MacFarline made third team as goalie.
Named to the senior all-star team were Jacob Buck, Caleb Buck, Jordan Hallett and MacFarline. The top East seniors are scheduled to take on the West March 19 at a site yet to be determined.
Presque Isle was honored with the sportsmanship award.
The Wildcats were also notified Thursday that they had won the Maine Principals’ Association sportsmanship banner for Class B hockey. Team representatives were on hand to receive the award, which was presented during Saturday’s Class B state final at the Colisee in Lewiston.
LaJoie finished the season with 43 points with a team-leading 29 goals to go along with 14 assists. Shaw scored 36 points with 16 goals and 20 assists, while Adam Flynn led the team in assists with 22 and also netted eight goals for 30 points.
Jacob Buck (16 points) and Seeley (14 points) were other statistical leaders for the Wildcats.
