LIMESTONE — Barbara J. Thompson, 57, died April 18, 2011 at Caribou. She was born at Caribou, August 22, 1953, the daughter of Horace and Alfreda (Mazerolle) Edgecomb. Barb served with the U.S. Army for three years and was an accounting technician at Defense and Financial Accounting Services for many years.
She is survived by two sons, Sean Ward of Brewer and William Ward and his wife, Leeann of Bangor; three brothers, Bernerd Edgecomb and his wife, Norma of Hooksett, N.H., John Edgecomb and his wife, Patricia and Gerald Michaud and his wife, Leona all of Limestone; three sisters, Connie Edgecomb of Nashua, N.H., Winnifred Edgecomb and Patsy Masse both of Limestone; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Thompson was predeceased by her husband, Marvin and she was predeceased by a sister, Kathleen Vassak.
Family and friends visited with the family, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints, 67 Paris Snow Dr., Caribou, Friday, April 22, 2011 from 11 a.m. until time of services, which was held at 1 p.m. Interment will be at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.
