Cooking, baking, planning, decorating, wrapping, cleaning, scrubbing and shopping — generally speaking, moms spend so much time helping their families have a happy holidays that they’re exhausted once the celebration starts.
But May 8th is all about moms and many families go out of their way to make certain she doesn’t have to lift a finger for one day of the year. They do this because, whether or not it’s frequently said, all kids think their mom is special in one way or another.
Students at the Limestone Community School were asked on Friday “what are some of the things that make your mom beautiful?”
Elementary and middle level students all identified that it’s what’s on the inside as well as the outside that makes their mothers beautiful.
