The death of Josephine Doris Guiggey of Fielding occurred on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Perth Andover. Born December 14, 1935 in Kirkland, she was the daughter of the late Jabez and Vietta “Nellie” (Nicholson) Snow.
Josephine is survived by her husband, Fred Guiggey; five sons, Robert Heath, Randy Heath, Timothy Heath, Scott Heath, and Tony Heath; two granddaughters, Chloe and Bridgette; two sisters, Fern Bustard (Carl) and Christine Keene (Ernie); one brother, Robert Hudson (Cindy); one sister-in-law, Irene Logue; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, one son, Paul, and one grandson.
Visitation was held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd., Florenceville – Bristol on Sunday, May 1, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service was held Monday, May 2, 2011 at 2 p.m. from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Joe Hopkins officiated. Interment was in the Fielding Cemetery.
Donations made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation, or the Bath United Pentecostal Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
