MONTICELLO — The play ‘Oliver Twist’ will be presented at Wellington School this Friday under the direction of Rob Gray and his assistant, Kara Minute. The Children’s Stage Adventures is a unique theatre company founded by Rob and Lorrie Gray in 1999. The Grays have more than 20 years experience performing and working with children. They have directed, taught and acted with more than 20,000 children while touring in the United States, Canada and Australia. CSA is a non-profit organization created for the sole purpose of enriching children’s lives through participation in alive theatre experience.
CSA is partially funded by charitable donations. Rob Gray earned his bachelor’s degree in theatre from Keene State College in New Hampshire. Minute is a New York native, who holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in performing arts from Adelphi University. This is her second year touring with the organization.

All students in grades kindergarten through third grade have a role in the production. Meysha Dahlk, a second grader has the major role of Oliver and other main characters will be played by Justin Cook, Christopher Violette, Damien Suitter, Emma Foster, Parker Brewer, Caleb Carmichael, Rylee Faulkner and Deborah Nichols. This is the tenth year for Wellington to host the theatre company.
The Wellington School and PTC provides the students with this opportunity through yearly fundraisers. There will be a Friday afternoon matinee at 12:30 p.m. and an evening performance at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for children and $10 for a family of four.
