KINNEY, Madeline L., 79, EASTON & BLAINE, at Presque Isle, May 21, 2011. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m., Wed., May 25, at Smith Cemetery, Bridgewater. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Mars Hill.

EASTON & BLAINE – Madeline Kinney, 79, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born October 27, 1931, in Westfield, the daughter of Percy and Edith (McPherson) Treffery.

Madeline loved to work alongside her husband, Mac on the family farm and as well as go out on truck with him.  They also went on many vacations together to many different areas of the country including Branson, Missouri. She loved to shop and eat clam chowder at Tim Horton’s.  Madeline’s greatest joy was her family, and loved spending time with them.

She is survived by a son, Bob Brewer and his wife, Pam of E. Plantation; two daughters: Lona Brewer of Westfield, and Paula Raymond and her husband, Dana of Easton; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm; two brothers: Averill and Wendell Treffery; two sisters: Ruth Bell and Marie Brewer; and a great-granddaughter, Cheyanna Young.

A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at Smith Cemetery, Bridgewater, with Pastors Lawrence Beals and Mark Carter officiating.  Arrangements in care of Duncan Funeral Home, 8 Main St., Mars Hill.  Condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com
