Julie Hogan of Julie’s Beauty World has returned home from the Spring Classic Hair Show.
Some of the latest fashion trends are false eyelashes and “big” hair like in the ‘50s and 60s’. Hogan will be offering both services in her salon at 775 Calais Rd. in Hodgdon.
Hogan saw new things for coloring and cutting, as well as a new cutting-edge polish system. The set will last for two weeks with no chipping or any damage to the polish. A person can scrub with an SOS pad without gloves with no problems, Hogan said.
Hogan invites the public to her salon to have fun changing hair color or a relaxing facial. She is a licensed beautician, does electrolysis (permanent hair removal), and an aesthetician (skin care). With skin care she does a full body exfoliation for those who tan because it helps a person tan better by getting rid of old skin cells.
