    Thompson, Robert H., 86, June 6, 2011.  Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Houlton.  Interment to be held in the Evergreen Cemetery, Houlton.
    HOULTON – Robert Hayes Thompson, 86, left this earth peacefully June 6th to be with the Lord. He was born March 6, 1925 in Houlton, the son of Rue and Lena (Carpenter) Thompson.
    He was a veteran of the US Navy.
    He is survived by his son, Gary Thompson and his wife, Susan, of Ludlow; daughter, Susan Gravel and her husband, Leonard, of N.C.; 5 grandchildren, Heidi Warman, Troy Gravel, Holly Foster, Jeremy Gravel, Travis Thompson; great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Kaitlyn, Rylee, Drew, Tyler and Emily; sister, Dorice Kerekes of FL.
    Friends may call 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8 at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water Street, Houlton. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m.  on Thursday at the First Baptist Church with Rev.
