Do you know where your children are?
    Parents, did you know Houlton has a “Curfew Law?” The law states Sunday through Thursday children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parents or guardian from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning and on Friday and Saturday the curfew is from midnight until 5 a.m. the next morning.
    The Houlton Police Department is vigilant on keeping your children out of harms way. With today’s peer pressure, drug and alcohol abuse, and just hanging with the wrong crowd, we know you as parents want only the best for your child.
    At 11 p.m. if the police were to ask you, do you know were your children are, please have the right answer. Please help us to enforce the curfew law, know were your children are. For more information, contact the police station at 532-2287.
