Police 11, Savings Bank of Maine 1
Tyler Dombroski had three hits and drove in five and Hunter Jackson had two hits and two RBIs as the Police picked up the win.
Dombroski notched the win on the mound by striking out 17, walking none and giving up two hits.
Jacob Burby homered and Spencer St. Peter had the only other hit for SBM.
Knights of Columbus 16, Key Bank 15
K of C fought back from a 6-1 deficit and won the wild offensive showdown in which the two teams combined for 30 hits.
Gabe Rand, Kyle Soetart-Beaulier, Connor Plourde, Nic Sleeper, Jo Jo Fields and Hunter Lindsey were the leading hitters for K of C, while Casey McCrossin’s four hits and Austin Scott’s three were tops for Key. One of Scott’s hits was a home run.
Aidan Plante and Hunter Lindsey made great plays in the field for the winners.
Savings Bank of Maine 11, Northstars 1
Jacob Burby and Caleb Willett combined for 18 strikeouts and a no-hitter as SBM downed the Northstars.
The winning offense banged out 11 hits, led by Jacob Burby’s triple and double. First-year player Benoit Levesque had the first hit of his Little League career, while another first-year player, Riley Cavagnaro, scored a pair of runs.
Kendra Furber turned an unassisted double play in the field for the Northstars.
S. W. Collins 4, Sleepers 1
The undefeated season of S. W. Collins continued with a 4-1 win over Sleepers.
Gabe Massey went four solid innings on the mound, striking out 11 batters while scattering three hits and not allowing a walk. He got out of bases-loaded situation in the first. Donovan Savage came on in relief in the fifth and went the rest of the way, collecting four strikeouts and not giving up a hit or a walk during his stint.
Zach Wright, Tyler Wright, Cory Jandreau and Nick Allen had hits for Collins, with Zach Wright scoring twice and knocking in a run.
Camden Huck went 2 for 3 and Mason Huck had an RBI double for Sleepers. The Hucks combined on the pitching duties and fanned 13 in the contest.
Police 12, Shop ’n Save 5
Tyler Dombroski had two hits and an RBI and Dawson Hebert knocked in two runs as Police prevailed.
Dylan Paddleford, Rachel Soucy and Dombroski combined to strike out 12 batters and Scott Long and Jacob Long made outstanding catches in the field for Police.
Ben Ezzy and Parker Deprey had two hits each for Shop ’n Save.
Northstars 16, Woodland Eagles 11
The Northstars ended a five-game losing streak, plating five first-inning runs and holding on for the win.
Devon Chamberland had an inside-the-park homer and a single and drove in three runs for the victors, while Kendra Furber doubled and singled and Josh Quist ripped a pair of singles.
Chamberland, Furber and Noah Hixon combined to strike out 15 Eagle batters.
Hunter Milliard scored three runs on an inside-the-park homer and two doubles for the Eagles, while teammates Caleb Trombley and Callie McBreairty both had two singles.
