St. Peter awarded master’s degree
CAMBRIDGE, MASS. — Kristin St. Peter the daughter of David and Vicki St. Peter of Madawaska Lake, graduated May 26, from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University with a master’s degree in public administration mid-career degree.
After time spent working as a civilian attorney for the Department of Defense in Iraq, Virginia, Guam and Bahrain, St. Peter will be joining the FDIC as legal counsel in the Financial Crimes Unit. A graduate of Caribou High School, she also holds a degree from Bowdoin College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law.
“I take great pride in knowing that the graduating class of 2011, will embody and carry forth the Kennedy School mission of public service in its many forms,” said Harvard Kennedy School Dean David T. Ellwood. “They are the imaginative, skillful, and principled leaders the world needs at this crucial time.”
Anna Ballard earned a doctor of pharmacy degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and presented her degree during their commencement exercises in May. Dr. Ballard is a 2005 graduate of Fryeburg Academy and the daughter of Curtis and Penny Ballard of Fryeburg. She is the granddaughter of Alan and Jackie Hancock of Presque Isle and Raymond Ballard and the late Lorraine Ballard of Caribou. Dr. Ballard plans to pursue a career as a pharmacist for Hannaford.
WORCESTER, MA —Matthew R. Foster, of Caribou, ME, received a degree from Clark University on Sunday, May 22. Foster graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
