BREWER, Elaine M., 69, PRESQUE ISLE, July 13, 2011. At her request, there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

PRESQUE ISLE – Elaine M. Brewer, 69, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at a local hospital. She was born on January 19, 1942, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Harold and Stella (Beaulieu) Larsen. She was a graduate of Presque Isle High School. She worked for Coles Express, Potato Service, Inc., and the Northern Maine Planning Commission.

Most of all, she was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. Elaine loved her cats, listening to country and classical music, working on her crafts, and doing crossword puzzles. She was a lifetime member of the Presque Isle Fish and Game Club.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene “Gene” Brewer; a daughter, Paula Brewer; and a sister, Elizabeth “Liz” Williams, all of Presque Isle.

She was predeceased by her parents; and a brother-in-law, Jim Williams.

At her request, there will be no calling hours. A private service will be held Friday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Blakney officiating. Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com
