Administrators with the Eastern Aroostook Regional School Unit (RSU 39 ) have announced the first day of school for RSU 39 students is Monday, Aug. 22 for students in grades 9 through 12, and Monday, Aug. 29 for those enrolled in pre-K through grade 8.
Orientation and open house dates for each school include:
Hilltop Elementary School (493-4250) orientation. Wednesday, Aug. 17 — pre-K (A.M. session) students and parents from 1 to 2 p.m. ; Wednesday, Aug. 17 — pre-K (P.M. session) students and parents, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. ; and Wednesday, Aug. 24 — kindergarten students from 1 to 2 p.m.; and Wednesday, Sept. 21— grades 1 and 2 parent/student open house from 5 to 7 p.m.
Teague Park Elementary School (493-4248) Open House for grades 3 through 5, Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 6 to 7 p.m.
Caribou Middle School (493-4240) Parent/student orientation — grades 6 through 8, Wednesday, Aug. 17. Appointments were mailed to students’ home in June. Questions about appointments should be directed to the Caribou Middle School.
Limestone Community School (325-4742) — Open house, Wednesday, Aug. 24 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Caribou High School (493-4260) — Freshman Orientation, Thursday, Aug. 18, from 6 to 9 p.m.
