Fort Fairfield Rotary to host 25th Dream Travel event

FORT FAIRFIELD — The Fort Fairfield Rotary Club will host its 25th Travel Draw on Saturday, Oct. 22.
“Dream Travel 2011 will be held at the Fort Fairfield Community Center, with a social hour beginning at 5 p.m., followed by a buffet-style dinner at 6 p.m., with a dance immediately after,” said Larry Plant, FFRC public relations committee chair.
The event serves as the organizations annual fundraiser. With limited tickets sold, Plant said participants face a good chance of winning some great prizes.
“No more than 400 tickets will be sold. Forty prizes will be drawn, so you will have a 1-in-10 chance to win,” said Plant.
There will be 15 prizes of $200 each, 20 prizes of $100 and five prizes of trips or cash, according to Plant.
“Destinations include the Hawaiian Islands, London, Cancun, Paradise Island, Bahamas, and Disney World in Florida,” he said.
Once again, Plant said, the Rotary Club is excited to have the Travel Draw celebration take place in Fort Fairfield.
“Come join us and dance to the music of the band Sound Friendships,” said Plant.
