The organizational meeting of Preceptor Alpha was held Sept. 15 at the home of sorority sister Paula Flora.
Committees were selected and meetings were planned for the following months: Oct. 20, 7 p.m. – Darrylin Keenan; Nov. 17, 7 p.m. – Sue Czosnek; Dec. 15, 7 p.m. – Miriam Gregg; Jan. 21, 10 a.m. – Ann LaPlante; Feb. 11, 11 a.m. – Cathy Allen; March – yet to be decided; April 12, 7 p.m. – Bernice Belanger; and May 10, 7 p.m. – Lynne Walton.
Sue Czosnek will display and sell raffle tickets on a quilt at The Kitchen and Bath Shop on the Reach Road during a remote broadcast on Oct. 1. It’s hoped that the public will support the organization’s effort to raise monies for local charities by purchasing raffle tickets on this beautiful quilt. Lynne Walton and Bernice Belanger will be checking into other locations where tickets might be sold. Cares and Shares were exchanged and the mystery gift was won by Sue Czosnek.
Emily Knight is responsible for the mystery gift next meeting. During a delicious potluck dinner, all sisters enjoyed catching up on family news and important milestones.
