High school soccer postseason

rapidly approaching for teams

It’s getting down to the wire for some teams trying to move higher in the Heal Point standings.

The last day for countable games is Oct. 18 and there are some important games, like another Presque Isle-Caribou girls’ matchup.

Neither Caribou nor Presque Isle have to worry about making the playoffs. The Vikings are currently No. 2 in Eastern Maine Class B. The Wildcats are No. 3.

In Class D Washburn is No. 1 by a large margin over Penobscot Valley. Fort Fairfield is No. 4, with Easton and Central Aroostook seventh and eighth. Ashland and LCS/MSSM are No. 14 and No. 16 respectively.
