HOULTON — Over four weekends this past summer and fall, the Maine Army National Guard worked to upgrade a road on Houlton High School’s woodlot property on the area known as the Bird Farm.
The upgraded road will provide greatly improved access to the new Bird Farm sugarhouse. The road project was completed in early October with significant donations of time and materials from local companies and individuals.
