Easton PCO receives certificate of recognition

The Easton School Department PCO was awarded a certificate of recognition in the 11th annual Parent Group of the Year search from PTO Today.
The parent group has been named on the website at ptotoday.com/pgy and received a personalized certificate to recognize this achievement. Only selected groups are recognized online and/or in print. However, every parent group that enters receives a certificate of recognition. Although not every entry can be a winner, the judges want to honor the contributions each parent group has made on behalf of its school and students. PTO Today provides articles, resources, tradeshows and other support to parent group leaders. The Parent Group of the Year search began as a way to recognize the achievements and contributions of parent groups in the school they serve.

Birthdays and anniversaries
On Nov. 16, Cecilia Ferris, Wendy Ambrose, Charity Rooney, Sheri Carter and Carol Haines all have a birthday. Nov. 17 is a birthday day for Anne Lloyd and Desirae Rickman. Reta Flewelling, Carrie Darr, Jon Jeffers, Nichole King, Alexis Pelkey, Denise Green, Ryan Carmer and Bobbie Nichols all have a birthday to celebrate Nov. 18. On Nov. 19, Phyllis Nadeau and Ethan Richardson both turn another year older. Happy birthday Grammy. Caleb Darr, Leonna King, Linda Robbins and Alecia DeCruz all have a birthday Nov. 20. Trent Lundeen, Rhonda Condon, Maurice Hewitt II and Lam Coffin will celebrate their birthdays Nov. 21. On Nov. 22, Elizabeth Vernon, Justin Perry, Bobbi Jo Leach and Cathy Osgood all have a birthday. Also Paul and Lianna Demerchant have an anniversary Nov. 22. Blessings to you all on your special days.

Winter Ball
Come join the Easton Queens at the Winter Ball. Open for grades 7-12. Come dance the night away. With the live disc jockey, free food and drinks, this should be an awesome party. The cost is $3 at the door, or two people for $5. Party guests from other high schools are welcome. A photographer will be available for formal pictures (4×6) for $1 each. Maximum capacity is 100 people, so please RSVP ASAP to insure your name is on the pre-entry list. Dress is semi-formal. The event is sponsored by the ECFP. Call for more information at 488-8022 or on Facebook on the ECFP page. The dance will take place in January.
Easton Methodist Church
The Easton Methodist Church will be holding its morning service Nov. 20 at the Mars Hill Methodist Church at 10:45 a.m. This will be a combined service. All are welcome.
