Intro to WorkReady for Business Leaders
    Houlton Hodgdon Adult Education, Region Two Vocational, and Workforce Investment Board Local Area 1 are holding an introduction to the “WorkReady” program on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 7:30 a.m. at the Center for Community Health Education of the Houlton Regional Hospital. 
    This approximately one hour continental breakfast session is intended to acquaint business leaders with the principles of WorkReady and the benefits of sponsoring employees in this program. The WorkReady program focuses on employee soft skills, customer service, and communication skills. Employers, educators, and municipal and agency personnel are urged to attend. There is no charge, but please call 521-3100 x5 by Monday, Nov. 28, to reserve your space.
CPR & First Aid at Hodgdon Fire
    Region Two Adult Vocational is announcing CPR and First Aid certification classes at the Hodgdon Fire Department.  The CPR class will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 29, from 5:30 –9 p.m, and the First Aid class will meet on Monday, Dec. 5th from 5:30 – 9 p.m.   Students may register for one or for both classes.  Paul Stewart is the instructor, and the fee for each class is $25.  For more information and to register, call Houlton/Hodgdon Adult Education at 521-3100 ext 5.
