The Northern Maine Board of Approved Soccer Officials have announced the 2011 winners of the annual Butch Shaw Award presented annually to outstanding soccer players in Aroostook County.

Washburn’s Carmen Bragg has been honored as an All-Aroostook selection in two fall sports, soccer and cross country squad.
The award is named in memory of Clyde “Butch” Shaw, an outstanding athlete, coach and official in Aroostook County, who passed away in 1985.
The winners are: Class B, Chad Caverhill of Caribou, Isaac LaJoie and Kayla Richards, both of Presque Isle; Class C, Ian Lee and Nicole Cyr of Madawaska; and Class D, Patrick Goodall of Southern Aroostook, Parise Rossignol of Van Buren, Jordan McLaughlin and MacKenzie Worcester, both of Washburn.
The winners were selected by the soccer officials.
