Caribou Police Chief Michael Gahagan is reminding all Caribou vehicle owners of the winter parking ban on any street in Caribou between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m., effective Nov. 1 through May 1.
“This is a reminder to make sure you do not leave your vehicle(s) parked on the streets, especially during times of inclement (snow) weather,” said Chief Gahagan. “Vehicle owners who choose to ignore this parking ban may receive a parking ticket, as a minimum and if the vehicle impedes snow removal it may be towed at the owner’s expense,” he added.
This winter parking ban is per city code, Section 12-407 All Night Parking.
