    PLAINVILLE , CT – Andrew C. Curtis, 53, beloved husband of Patricia (Hepp) Curtis, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011, at Bristol Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born September 21, 1958, in Presque Isle, son of Marilyn (Ruff) Gamblin of Waynesboro, VA, and the late Gaylord “Jake” Curtis.

    Andy was a longtime resident of Plainville and had been employed at GEMCO Manufacturing in Southington.

    Besides his wife, Patricia, and his mother, Marilyn, he is also survived by his two daughters, Christie Curtis and Ashley Curtis both of Plainville; his two brothers, Rick Curtis and Tony Curtis both of Bristol; his three sisters, Nora Bonville of Presque Isle, Joan Thomas of Waynesboro, VA, and Monica Dyer of Presque Isle; several nieces and nephews.

    His funeral was held on Monday, December 19, 2011, at 9 a.m. from the O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave, Forestville/Bristol, to the Church of Our Saviour, Plainville, where a service followed at 10 a.m. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
