Seven young ladies from Presque Isle recently traveled to Florida to participate in the production of the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade. The parade was produced at the Magic Kingdom at Disney World in Orlando on Dec. 3. The ladies earned the honor of performing in the parade as cheerleaders with the National Cheerleaders Association when they attended NCA camp at Husson College and placed as an All-American Team Nominee. In addition, Michaela Powers earned the individual award of NCA All-American for leadership as a team captain. Cheerleaders who traveled to Disney for the parade, left to right, Courtney Lyford, Megan Byers, Gabby McCrum, Powers, Brittany Good, Kelsie Spooner and Paige Doyen. The Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade will air on ABC Christmas morning.
