Jim Laveway of Ashland is the first $500 winner of the 2011-2012 basketball season as he made a successful half-court shot during halftime at the boys Ashland District School game against Washburn on Dec. 10. Presenting the check to Jim was Katahdin Trust Company Ashland Branch Manager, Janet Jandreau (right) along with Sandy LaBelle, Project Graduation Chair at last Friday night’s home game.
