With the start of a new year, deadlines are quickly approaching for tax liens and dog registrations in the town of Limestone.
Notice of Impending Automatic Foreclosure notices were sent out on Jan. 5, 2012, to all 2009/2010 lien holders. If not paid, the liens will expire on Friday, Feb. 17. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the tax collector at 325-4704.
Just a reminder to Limestone residents: Partial tax payments (weekly, bi-weekly or monthly) will be accepted at any time.
All dogs housed in the town must be registered by the end of this month. Please bring in the Maine Certificate of Rabies Vaccination and a written certificate from the veterinarian stating that the dog(s) is incapable of producing young because of spaying or neutering. A late fee will be assessed on Wednesday, Feb. 1.
The Board of Selectpeople will have their regular meetings on Wednesday, Feb. 1 and 15 at the Limestone Municipal building at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
