The regular high school basketball season play ends Feb. 10, with preliminaries Feb. 14-15, followed by the Eastern Maine Tournament Feb. 17-25. State games for classes A, C and D will be March 3.

The Katahdin girls are two spots out of qualifying position at 17th with a 3-9 record (4.5062), while East Grand has a 1-11 record and rounding out the local teams is Greater Houlton Christian Academy, winless on the season thus far.
