MacCabee, Webb sentenced

    A Canadian man who threatened to blow up a Cyr Bus Line bus in Houlton was sentenced to 10 months in prison.
    According to Assistant District Attorney Kurt Kafferlin, Daniel Thomas MacCabee pled guilty on Dec. 1, 2011 to terrorizing, a class C felony, and two counts of assault, both class D misdemeanors. He was sentenced on the terrorizing charge to 10 months in prison, while each assault charge netted 60 days of confinement and a $300 fine. All periods of confinement will run concurrently.
    Jeffrey Webb pled no contest to aggravated assault, a class B felony, and criminal mischef, a class D misdemeanor on Oct. 26, 2011. On Dec. 14, 2011 he was sentenced to 4 years of confinement, with all but one year suspended, and three years of probation on the aggravated assault charge.
    On the criminal mischief charge he was sentenced to six months of confinement to run concurrently. No restitution was ordered as the victim had already been compensated through a civil suit.
