Swiatek promoted at MMG
PRESQUE ISLE — MMG Insurance Co. of Presque Isle recently announced the promotion of Robert Swiatek to associate actuary.
Robert Swiatek 
began his career with MMG in 2008 as a student actuary. Over the past three years, he has been actively involved in assisting with quarterly and annual reserve adequacy modeling and other actuarial analysis. He has also been instrumental in the implementation and development of the company’s financial analysis enterprise risk management forecasting model.
Swiatek earned bachelor of science degrees in mathematics and business administration with an economics minor from the Michigan Technological University in Houghton. He has passed several actuarial exams, with the successful completion of the most recent exam earning him the designation of associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society. Swiatek has also been involved in MMG’s Enterprise Architecture area and recently attained his Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) certification.
Swiatek is the treasurer of the St. John Valley Aero Club and holds his private pilot’s license. He and his wife, Helena, are the parents of a daughter, Lydia.
