    MARS HILL – Marilyn Tackett, 70, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012, at a Houlton long-term care facility. She was born November 21, 1941, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Elden and Opal (Niles) Crawford.

    She is survived by three children: Maurice Kidd and his wife, Laurie of Bridgeton, Michelle Kidd of Maine, Raymond Tackett of Virginia; three brothers: Leroy Crawford and his wife, Gloria, Robert Crawford and his wife, Lois, Roger Crawford and his wife, Linda, all of Mars Hill; several grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Barbara Bridges of Presque Isle.

    In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Tackett; and a sister, Marlene Crawford.
