It’s that time of the year again — spring fever is creeping up on everyone — just like the Caribou Kiwanis Keystone Kops.

Kiwanis Keystone Kops dean Rauch and Carol McElwee patrolled their beat on Monday, bringing arrest warrants to businesses throughout Caribou.
If you have someone in mind on whom you would like to play a really great, good-natured joke on, that one (or more) person you would really like to shock and surprise, someone you just want to make feel extra special or even that somebody who deserves a little “revenge,” then the Keystone Kops can accommodate you.
A traditional part of Caribou Winter Carnival’s events, this crew of “law” officers will be out and about the Caribou area on Friday, Feb. 24, searching for possible victims to arrest and spend some time in the “Keystone Klink,” which will be set up at the American Legion Post Home on Sweden Street.
Warrants are $10 each and can be purchased at Caribou One-Stop, Food Trend, and the Chamber of Commerce office or from any Kiwanis member. When arranging for an “arrest” be sure to include the reason for the arrest; and the time and exact place for the person to be “picked up.”
So if you are diligently working at your computer on Friday or grabbing a quick bite of lunch and all of a sudden you hear whistles and witness several official-looking individuals approaching — you or someone nearby is about to be “arrested ” and detained.
Purchase your warrants today then sit back and envision the look on your victim’s face when the Kops come knocking — better yet, if you dare, make a trip to the American Legion and watch as they plead their case in front of the “judge.”
All proceeds from this proven popular and successful event will help sponsor Caribou Kiwanis youth programs.
For more information call 498-8605 or call the American Legion Post at 498-2844 on Friday.
