Hodgdon Baptist Church to host benefit concert April 22

Hodgdon Baptist Church will be hosting a benefit concert on Sunday, April 22 at 6 p.m. for a June mission trip to Living Waters Bible Camp. The concert will feature the Lunn family.

Mark Lunn has been the pastor of Hodgdon Baptist Church for more than 15 years, while his wife, Debbie teaches private music lessons and has performed concerts at many churches and at Living Waters, often with the help of Mark and their three children, Jennifer Molloy, Julia and Nicholas. The family sings a variety of Christian music styles while playing piano, guitars and using background accompaniment in solos and duets as well as the whole family together.

An offering will be received to raise funds for the Living Waters mission project from June 10-16. At least 14 from the church, led by Pastor Sean Molloy, will be at Living Waters Bible Camp to construct a new outbuilding for the waterfront to house lifeguard, canoe and kayak equipment. They will also be repainting several buildings on the Mountain View property. The cost of materials for the project is estimated at $2,600.

Living Waters is a Bible camp and conference center located on East Grand Lake. Living Waters runs a summer youth program of eight weeks, while simultaneously operating a family camping experience with motels, cottages and RV lots. They invite Bible teachers and Christian musicians from all over the country to teach and encourage those attending. For more information about the camp, visit their website at www.lwcamp.com.

East Hodgdon and Cary are closing their services for the evening to come to Hodgdon Baptist to participate. A time of light refreshment will follow the concert.
