SAD 29/70 will hold an adult education hunter safety course in May.
The course meets the mandatory Maine licensing requirement for first-time hunters and is recommended for all Maine hunters.
Instructor Maurice Brewer will instruct two sessions, with the first being on Tuesday, May 1 at Houlton High School from 6-8:30 p.m. and the second, Saturday, May 12 at the high school from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Attendance is mandatory at both sessions. Cost is $3.

Students must be 10 years old to take a Hunter Safety Course. Students between the ages of 10-12 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian, who is 18 years old or older. Testing assistance is available.
