Carter’s Walk is Saturday
The Hodgdon High National Honors Society and Student Council will be sponsoring the “Carter’s Gift Memorial Walk Saturday, April 28. The walk will be held at Riverfront Park in Houlton. Registration is at 9 a.m. with the walk beginning at 10 a.m.
“The walk is to honor Carter Cummings, son of Wanda and Jeremy Cummings who passed away two years ago after a courageous battle with Neuroblastoma,” said Rob Smith, one of the walk organizers. “The family has been contacted and as the walk will honor Carter the proceeds raised from this walk will be donated to the Ward family. Their daughter Makenna Ward is battling the same form of cancer as Carter.”

Pre-register for this event by e-mailing Smith at robertsmith@msad70.org or register on Saturday at the walk.
