STANDISH, Maine — The following local residents recently earned their degrees from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine:
• Lydia Christie of Caribou received a bachelor’s of science in general studies, with a criminal justice specialization.
• Susan Dugal of Limestone received a master’s of science in nursing. Dugal is a staff nurse in the special care unit at Cary Medical Center where she has worked for 22 years. She also teaches nursing at the Northern Maine Community College.
• Travis Muchaud of Caribou received a master’s of science in education. Michaud is a career transition specialist at the Loring Job Corps Center.
BRUNSWICK — Bowdoin College in Brunswick held its 207th Commencement exercises on May 26. Amy Anderson, of Woodland, was among the graduates, with a major in art history and earth and oceanographic science and a minor in chemistry.
WORCESTER, Mass. — Taylor Parent of Van Buren graduated on May 12 from Assumption College with a bachelor of arts degree.
