Blood drive set at UMPI
PRESQUE ISLE — The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Residence Life Office and The American Red Cross are teaming up for the University’s fifth Super Blood Drive on Monday, June 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Gentile Hall.
The event, sponsored by the university, UMPI’s Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and Pizza Hut, and co-sponsored by Pat’s Pizza, Big Cheese Pizza, Country Farms Market and Wal-Mart, is one of the largest American Red Cross blood drives in the County.
The goal of the drive is to collect at least 300 pints of life-saving blood. For more information, call 768-9585.
