All-Aroostook athletes named

    The Aroostook League has announced its All-Aroostook team for the spring sports season.
    In team sports such as baseball, softball and tennis, All-Aroostook players are selected by the league coaches. For track and field, selections are made based on criteria established by the league.
    Athletes are awards an All-Aroostook certificate at their spring sports awards assemblies.
    The following are the 2012 choices:
    Class B and C baseball: Chad Caverhill, Caleb Chapman, Matt Curry, Matt Milliard and Dean Walker, all of Caribou; Brandon Hartt and Charlie Nadeau, both of Fort Kent; Jimmy Fitzpatrick, Hunter Hanning, Daniel Howe, Gage Hunt and Isaiah Straubel, all of Houlton; Dylan Wetmore of Madawaska; and Ryley Norton, Saul Nunez, Jacob Player, Jonah Stephenson and Wilder York, all of Presque Isle.
