Local students make UMFK’s dean’s list

FORT KENT — Dr. Rachel E. Albert, vice president for academic affairs, at the University of Maine at Fort Kent has announced that 302 students were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2012 semester.

Students attaining the honor must be degree candidates, enrolled as a full-time student or a part-time student, and must maintain a 3.20 grade point average on a 4.0 scale for the semester with no grades below a “C.”

Caribou students making the grade include Kyle Anderson, Chelsea Griffeth, Katherine Morneault, Dylan Ouellette, Stephanie Plourde and Ashley Theriault.

Other area students making the list were: Devon Cote and Jodi Cote, both of Connor TWP; Garick Theriault of Hamlin; Kelsey King of Perham; and Lori Costello and Micheal Doucette, both of Stockholm.

Van Buren students named to the UMFK dean’s list include Colby Caron, Jonathan Chasse, Sonya Doucette, Shane Dufour, Megan Duprey, Macie Laplante and and Stephanie Schick.
