Earlier in the playoffs, the Swedes were sent to the loser’s bracket by Jordan’s Lawn Care, who won, 7-4. Later in the tourney, the Swedes got hot like they had played all season and were not about to lose their chance for the repeat.
In the title game, the Swedes’ Scotty Landeen hit a home run to score the first run of the game in the second inning. Morgan Swan scored after singling in the sixth to make it 2-0. In the top of the seventh, the Swedes scored some insurance runs with Josh Doucette and Ryan Ouellette both singling to plate both Ashley Doucette and Kelsie Espling.
Jordan’s Lawn Care tried making a comeback in the bottom of the seventh, with Jordan Haines singling and later coming around to score, but the team fell short 4-1.
