Presenting the bag to Michaud are Meghan Dinneen, family nurse practitioner at TAMC’s Caribou Health Center, and Jason Parent, TAMC director of advancement. Michaud was in Aroostook County this weekend, and was originally scheduled to pick potatoes alongside TAMC employees hand harvesting the TAMC Centennial Potato Plot, but rain and wet field conditions forced the postponement of the harvesting to Monday. Instead, Michaud visited the first-ever drive-up flu shot clinic held in Caribou. Michaud intends to deliver a bag of the TAMC spuds to U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack when he meets with him in Washington, D.C.
