PRESQUE ISLE – Theresa S. (Cyr) Good, age 79, passed away November 16, 2012, at her home in Presque Isle, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 26, 1932, in St. David, the daughter of the late Leon and Yvonne Cyr. She married her husband, Perry Good, of Presque Isle on November 5, 1966, at the St. David Catholic church, and together they raised two beautiful daughters.
Over the years, she has been employed by Daigle Drug in Madawaska, several department stores in Presque Isle, and pharmacies in Florida and Belfast, ME.
Theresa loved the great outdoors, and in the earlier years, she accompanied her husband, Perry on numerous fishing, hunting and fiddlehead excursions. She spent many happy hours at their summer cottage at Squapan Lake and OH!, how she loved picking wild strawberries and raspberries! The family was certainly grateful for the delicious pies and shortcakes that followed. Theresa was very artistic. She was an avid crafter, a hobby she pursued for the joy of it. Many throughout Aroostook have enjoyed her beautiful teddy bears, quilts and numerous other items she created.
She was predeceased by her parents; and will be sorely missed by her husband, Perry; daughters, Karla Good and husband, Joe St. Peter, Karen and husband, Timothy Byram; brothers, Gilman and wife, Evelyn, Wallace and wife, Mildred, Daniel and wife, Anne Marie; sisters, Daisylene Cyr, and Geneva and husband, Jack Clifford; grandchildren, Tyler, Peter and Chase; special cousin, Lucille Fennel; special friends, Grace, Lona, Marie, Lois and Joan; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visiting hours. Services will be held at a later date. To those who would like to contribute in her memory, when you see a cancer care or Salvation Army collection plate, drop in a dollar and think of Theresa.
