Board welcomes new members

PRESQUE ISLE — The Wintergreen Arts Center’s Board of Directors has announced that at the October meeting three new members were elected to the Board. They are: Kari Wells-Puckett, Karen Lodge and Anne Hemphill.

Kari Wells-Puckett is an attorney practicing with the firm of Bemis and Rossignol in Presque Isle. Karen Lodge, formerly of Philadelphia, specializes in public relations, marketing and advertising. Anne Hemphill, a native of Presque Isle, is an artist and longtime supporter of the Center.

Wintergreen Arts invites the participation of community members in its activities. Besides the regularly scheduled classes and activities, the organization sponsors many special events, such as the annual Family Gingerbread Festival, which will be held this year on Dec. 15. The Center also hosts special events, such as birthday parties, for community members, as well as producing nutritious soups, salads and breads for pre-order in the Studio Cafe.
