Rep. Saucier to host community meeting
PRESQUE ISLE — Maine State Rep. Robert J. Saucier, D-Presque Isle, will be hosting a public forum on the governor’s proposed biennial two-year budget.
“My job in Augusta is to represent the people of Presque Isle and have no-nonsense conversations with my constituents. I can do a better job if I know what is on the minds of Presque Isle citizens. Since the proposed two-year budget would have critical impacts on our community, Presque Isle residents deserve a chance to weigh in. I hope to see many of my constituents at this forum,” said Saucier.
The forum will be co-facilitated with State Sen. Troy Jackson, D-Aroostook. The forum will be held at Northern Maine Community College in the Peter Hunt room (theatre in Christie Building) from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16.
