PRESQUE ISLE – The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s men’s and women’s cross country teams and Presque Isle Historical Society are partnering to offer area residents a chance to get a jump start on that spring cleaning – or perhaps to find a treasure.
As a joint fundraising event, the groups will host an indoor yard sale on Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 31, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event will be held in Wieden Gymnasium in Wieden Hall on the UMPI campus. Admission is free for shoppers. Anyone wishing to have a booth space must complete the contract and forward with payment in full by a March 15 deadline.
Vendor contracts and rules, and parking/unloading maps can be downloaded at www.umpi.edu/indooryardsalecontract and www.umpi.edu/indooryardsalemap. Parking for the event will be available in the library parking lot, the lot by the tennis courts and the north parking lot to the east of Gentile Hall.
