CARIBOU — Griffeth Ford leads the standings in the nine-team Caribou Men’s Basketball League.
Griffeth Ford is 16-3 and leads second-place Gagnon’s Studio (15-5) by 1-1/2 games. In third place is the Road Runners (11-6), followed by Loring Job Corps (10-9) and the Spartans (9-8).
Blvd. Graphics is sixth at 7-9 and AOE is seventh at 7-14, followed by the Pipe Layers at 5-13 and the Purple Cobras at 3-16.
Last Wednesday, the Pipe Layers defeated the Spartans, 67-65; the Road Runners topped Gagnon’s Studio, 67-58; and Loring Job Corps ran past the Purple Cobras, 113-63.
In action Monday, Gagnon’s Studio downed the Purple Cobras, 76-65; Blvd. Graphix fell to Griffeth Ford, 63-45; and the Road Runners bested AOE, 73-51.
Tonight at 6 p.m., AOE plays the Purple Cobras, followed at 7 p.m. by Loring Job Corps vs. Blvd. Graphix. The 8 p.m. nightcap has the Spartans meeting up against the Road Runners.
On Monday, March 18, Loring Job Corps takes on the Pipe Layers at 6 p.m. Blvd. Graphix squares off against Gagnon’s Studio at 7 p.m. and Griffeth Ford and the Spartans do battle at 8 p.m.
