FORT KENT — The University of Maine at Fort Kent Student Nurses Organization will host a Polar Bear 5K Run/Walk Race on Saturday, March 16.
Race time is 10 a.m. and registration will begin at 8 a.m. at the UMFK Cyr Hall parking lot. The fee for the race is $15 per person. The first 100 people to register will receive a race T-shirt. The race route is around the mills. No rain date is scheduled.
Racers will compete in four different age groups: under 18, age 18 through 29, age 30 through 44, and age 45 and up. Prizes will be awarded to the top finisher in each age division.
The proceeds will benefit SNO and a local charity.
